Summit Estate Wines sits high on Queensland’s Granite Belt, just north of Stanthorpe, where cool-climate conditions and elevation shape the wines we produce.

Established in 1997, the estate has grown into a destination that’s as much about the experience as it is about the wine. Our vineyard is planted to a mix of classic and alternative varieties, with a strong focus on aromatic Mediterranean and European styles that thrive in this region. Recognised as a 5 Star James Halliday winery, Summit Estate continues to build on a long-standing commitment to quality, craftsmanship and regional character.

Today, Summit Estate is evolving. Alongside our wines, we offer a relaxed, welcoming cellar door experience designed for people to slow down, settle in and enjoy their time here. Our self-guided tasting flights let you explore at your own pace, whether you’re discovering something new or revisiting a favourite.

We’re also part of the Granite Belt’s Strange Bird Wine Trail, showcasing lesser-known varietals that make this region unique.

Beyond the tasting bench, there’s more to explore. From long lunches at Kitchen 925, to evenings by the fire during Sunset Sessions, to our growing collection of classic cars, trucks and tractors on display, Summit Estate offers a winery experience that goes beyond the glass.
